1. Introduction and Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Pinoy Legends (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with our website, our Content Creator Program, our official community server on Discord, and the testing of our mobile game (together, the “Services”). We process personal information in accordance with Republic Act No. 10173, otherwise known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Policy. Where the law requires your consent, we will ask for it before we process your information.

2. Personal Information We Collect

2.1 Website. When you visit our website, our hosting provider may automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you view. We do not currently use analytics tools.

2.2 Content Creator Program. When you apply, we collect the information you submit through our official Google Form, such as your name, contact details, channel links, follower counts, and sample videos.

2.3 Community server. On our official Discord server, we may access your Discord username, user ID, and the messages and content you post, as needed for moderation and community management. Discord processes this information under its own privacy policy.

2.4 Game testing. The game is still under development, and we have not yet determined what information testing will collect. Before testing begins, we will update this Policy to state what we collect and why.

We do not ask you to provide sensitive personal information through the Services, and we ask that you do not submit any.

3. Purposes and Basis of Processing

We process personal information only for specific and declared purposes:

to operate, secure, and maintain the Services;
to receive, evaluate, and respond to Content Creator Program applications;
to moderate the community and enforce our Terms of Service;
to test, balance, and improve the game;
to send you updates or announcements that you have requested; and
to comply with legal obligations.

We rely on your consent, on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Services, or on another lawful basis permitted by the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

4. Disclosure of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information. We disclose it only to service providers that help us operate the Services, such as our website host, Google (for application forms), and Discord, and only to the extent necessary for them to perform their functions. We may also disclose personal information when required by law, court order, or a lawful request from a government authority.

5. Security and Retention

We implement reasonable and appropriate organizational, physical, and technical measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, and disclosure. Personal information is stored on a secured, encrypted network that our technical team cannot access.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law, after which it is securely disposed of. In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify the National Privacy Commission and the affected individuals as required by law.

6. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to:

be informed about how your personal information is processed;
object to the processing of your personal information;
access your personal information;
correct inaccurate or outdated information;
request the suspension, withdrawal, blocking, removal, or destruction of your personal information;
obtain a copy of your information in a commonly used electronic format, where applicable;
be indemnified for damages sustained due to inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, false, unlawfully obtained, or unauthorized use of your information; and
lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

7. Children

The Services are intended for individuals who are at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services link to third-party platforms such as Discord, Google, and app stores. Those platforms are governed by their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date above shows the latest version. For material changes, we will provide notice on our website or our official Discord server.
